Colourful leggings: save your summer!

Standard

Colourful legginsHeeeelloooo darlings,

here I am for the first time in my new blog. Why here and why now? I’ve been scouting for years in various print and online media for the fresh news on the topics I’m interested in which are mainly sports, diet, celebrities, fashion and style. You read things and you forget most of them at once and never come across of them, which is a pity in some cases. So I decided to use this platform more or less as my own news feed and I will be pleased when it will be useful for you guys, too.

My answer to the bad weather – colourful leggings

The worse the weather the more brights and neons should you be wearing to make the world a brighter place! The more glaring your style – the better your mood (and that of people around you). My personal favourite of this season are colourful leggings in all variations. They fit to sneakers, high heels, t-shirts, blouses and always look kind of fresh and young. So, don’t be afraid to try colourful leggings out (provided you are slim enough for it). You don’t have to be a model, but poorly chosen colour design might make your backside look enormous (even if it is not) and we don’t want that, do we?

4 simple rules to choose the perfect colourful leggings

  1. First of all don’t lie to yourself and take the size that really fits you and not the one you wish would fit. There is nothing more unpleasant than a feeling of too tight leggings or tights.
  2. There are generally two kinds of leggings length: the 3/4 and the long ones. Generally you should prefer 3/4 leggings only in case you are wearing high heels or your legs are as long as those of Heidi Klum. All others should better choose the long variant as it optically stretches your legs and might make you even look a bit taller ;)
  3. The choice of the colour and pattern of your leggings should generally depend on the top you are planning to wear. Too much colours and patterns on both is hard to combine and might easily look cheap. So try to choose more soft pastel colours on the top and keep it simple. If your top is neon, try to find colourful leggings which have at least one exactly the same neon tone.
  4. If you are not sure if your figure is at all combinable with colourful leggings – choose a dress, a long shirt or a tunic which covers everything you’d like to hide. It shouldn’t be too long though: everything which ends above your knees is ok.
